When you refill the oil, put in only 2 quarts of oil. If you need a little more after you check the level, then add it. BUT DO NOT BUT MORE THAN 2 QT. TO BEGIN WITH.
See an earlier post by Brian who really screwed his bike by adding way too much oil.
Also make sure you either by a new o-ring or make sure you keep the old one.
